Zahn's Re-Promotion to Admin

Honest opinion time! (writing this at 2am is a good idea right guys?)
I myself do not actually like Zahn.
Reason? I would never be able to find myself having an actual conversation with him, rather an irritating and illogical person if i do say so myself.

However when it comes to community like/dislike ratio. I've heard more negatives then i have heard positives. In the sense that this thread right here is the only time i've heard positives, while the rest of the time on the server. Only negatives.

On another note, Zahn seems to be one of those folk who hates not having power. Frankly from my point of view, anybody who really "wants" to be an Admin, isn't a good admin at all.

There's also this nagging thought in the back of my head, as if it's trying to remind me of something Zahn has done in the past that was utterly corrupt... Though, that's not really a strong piece of evidence.

Well that seems like a no then, unless someone can convince me otherwise.

I still say he should not have poured out his heart into learning the plugin however, I had no idea he was going to install it and master it within one night, and after about 3 hours of thought I came to the conclusion that even if I trained myself it would take quite awhile to teach the rest of the server.

also on a side note, I asked mikey if he was going to leave, and he pondered on it. IN the end I told him to stay. As if would be depriving the server of a damn good admin.

I do this for EVERY plugin I install or merely explore. I can't afford not to, or I have to deal with you brats whining because something doesn't work.

Zahn, you may show some level of commitment and dedication to the players, but don't, for one moment claim you have ever been dedicated to the server itself. You don't give a fuck about how it runs or who's running it, you only care that it works. And when it doesn't, you either ignore the issues and never report them, or you spit and scowl at those you assume responsible.

This debacle shouldn't be about you losing Admin
No.
It should be about why, in seven hells, I kept you on as Admin for this long.

The server itself, the technical part, you're correct. I never bothered myself with the technical part, only the players, which you know.. makes the server what it is. Perhaps I did overlook the management and such, and I indeed apologize for that, but how the fuck am I meant to respect you and trust you when you constantly call me useless? You've had a problem with me since the day you first spoke to me.
I have a great deal of respect for Darkspin as he has been working on these servers as he has said: "Can't say it's for the better -- but these servers have been around for over 13 years hosting games 4 computers ago."

I am devoted to the players of the server, not the host, not the manager, not the staff, [b]THE PLAYERS.[/b] I will admit, some of them are difficult to deal with, and such but for the most part, I love the server's community.

Err, I have been playing on this server for 2 years. That is quite a bit of time, and I have dedicated a lot of that time getting admin, and befriending most of the community.

This is my only reply to this thread, do not expect any sort of replies from me if you quote it.

The fact that you disrespected the man pretty much keeping the server together out of charity, who got a job to help pay for the funds of the internet, who spent hours of his FREE TIME in the background making everything run smoothly, troubleshooting, and dealing with our bullshit quite frankly sickens me.

Don't get me wrong Zahn, I love you in a completely hetero way, but that's unacceptable.

I do understand that you love the playerbase to no extent, but you must realize that Viper was the man making sure that the players were safe and secure in their home server.

The fact still stands that you also didn't bother to learn the plugin.
You do realize that's how every advanced plugin works right?

If I remember correctly, it took us HOURS to learn the ins and outs of World Edit and World Guard. I see no logical reasoning behind persuading Viper to install Towny and not even make a decent attempt at learning it.

I do understand that mayors and other staff members would have to learn it also, but a vast majority of them look up to you as a King.
What kind of King leaves his people hung to dry?
