This post is relative to all Mayors for managing their towns. You may choose to do this or you may not, but here is how. We strongly recommend you do this.

I'm pleased to say Mayor's can now manage their towns more effectively. Currently Mayor's have just been adding their new citizens to the entire town region. This can be a problem because the smart thing would be to only add those you trust... but we would rather you feel safe enough to add anyone who wants to purchase a plot in your town. After this tutorial, you will be able to restrict members in your town to the plot they have purchased.
Unfortunately, I cannot give Mayor's the ability to create regions because there's no way to limit where you choose to create them.
[color=#1E90FF]Step one[/color] involves asking an Artisan or an Admin to create the region for you. Name the plots [color=#FF4500][font=Courier]<townname>_plot#[/font][/color]
Then add the Mayor as owner so they can manage them.
[color=#1E90FF]Step 2[/color] can be done by the Mayor who has been given owner of the plot inside a region that they also own (their town for example).
The command is formatted like this: [color=#FF4500][font=Courier]/region setparent child parent[/font][/color]
[color=#1E90FF]To clarify:[/color] [font=Courier][color=#FF4500]/region setparent <PlotName> <TownRegionName>[/color][/font]
The plot is the [font=Courier][color=#FFD700]child[/color][/font] while the town is the [color=#FFD700][font=Courier]parent[/font][/color].
Mayor's now have the ability to then add the town member to the plot as an owner with [font=Courier][color=#FF4500]/region addowner <PlotName>[/color][/font]
That way they can add their friend to help them build their plot.
It would be ideal for Mayors to have all their plots outlined in their town and then you can get an Artisan or a Mayor to swoop in and define them all for you. Then you can setparent them all and they're ready to be sold. Remember to use a piece of string to identify the names of the plots.
