Server is down! What happened? We all need to know!

Terraria Server Down Overnight.

Terraria server has been down all night, I believe. It was down for a few hours before I went to sleep. After I woke up I checked and it was still down. I am checking again, several hours later, and it appears to still be down.

Upon asking others, I've received no word on MC issues and TF2 seems to have gone down once for a few minutes but was back up without any other issues other than the usual lag. (100-500 ping randomly and stops randomly)

What was expected? What do you see instead?
I expected to be able to log on but instead i get a cannot connect to sever message

Can you speculate on the cause and/or fix? Can you find a relation to another issue?
No but i know that if this doesnt get fixed we arent going to have any players.

T-shock is being a bitch on the server. It will ban people. But only on rare occasions and after many attempts.
Server needs to be restarted or else griefers will destroy the server and we won't be able to stop them.
I hope DS somehow gazes upon the forums in the next 30 mins or so...

Jail Plugin Problem

I was playing on Darkspin when ~Bino was messing with me. I didn't even do anything! Kicking me with the reason "Nope <3"! then him and his friends trapped me in a jail at spawn and "somehow" muted me. When
they were finally done (sort of done) fooling around, they still didn't notice I could not do anything till later. They are still trying to undo this but nothing is working. Please help! :exclamation:

Hey everyone.
A few of you know, that my account was hacked a couple of hours ago. there was an exploit in the version of Spigot that we were using, read about it here:

So yeah, "The exploit allowed them to log in as any user on the server, causing havoc and doing as they please"

I am responsible for this, because I hadn't been doing the correct thing, which was checking the spigot page for updates. I am extremely sorry that some of your creative builds are destroyed, and unfortunately I don't think that we can roll it back, because LogBlock doesn't recognise Worldedit changes.

Also, the spawn that MasterDeathCon and I created, has been turned into a giant hole in the ground. We'll try and get that fixed soon too. There is no danger of this happening with the current version of Spigot we are running, because I updated it very recently.

If LogBlock allows us to rollback this insane griefing, that'd be great, but if not, we'll need all the help we can get to get the worlds running again.

Oh, and nothing apart from the spawn area was destroyed in Obsidia, so don't worry.

Thanks guys, we'll do our best to get things running to the way it was before all this.
