Ello.
I've decided to add (another) new rank. This ranks' purpose is to provide a period during which the skills of a potential Moderator can be evaluated; So instead of immediately being promoted to Moderator, you get promoted to the rank of TrialMod.
This 'trial period' will last for [b]2 weeks[/b]. Things that will be evaluated are (But not limited to):
- The way a TrialMod approaches and solves an issue.
- How much of a contribution is made (i.e Taking up issues when they arise)
- Amount of activity (Playtime, duh)
- Overall politeness (i.e Not treating non-staff like skrubs)
Once the trial period has finished, Myself, Geekboy and BinoAl (And DrLeopard, currently on leave) will collect information from staff regarding their views of the performance of the player during the period and decide whether or not the player will be promoted.
If you get promoted, congratulations! you now have the rank of Moderator and provided that you stick to the guidelines your rank may well increase further. If not, no big deal. You are more than welcome to apply again [b]1 month[/b] after posting your former application.
