Access to the Spawn Mine

Want to mine in the Spawn mine, but suck at Parkour? Have I got a solution for you!

You can already access the spawn mine by mastering the Ladder Master parkour track, but you hate parkour right? You want more options, do here's my idea:

Create more challenges and Achievements to access the Spawn Mine.

The reward doesn't have to be exclusively to access the mine, I'm thinking maybe have different difficulty levels, where the hardest gets you access.

Well now that you know what the thread's about, let me tell you my idea...

INTRODUCING.... BATTLE ARENA!

Essentially it's what it sounds like. An arena to battle mobs, but here's the catch, there's prizes. Here's the Difficulty Levels:
Easy:
Starting Items: Full Iron Armour, Iron Sword
Reward: 2.5K (Reward amount open to discussion)
Objective: Survive 5 minutes
Enemies: Zombies, Skeletons

Medium:
Starting Items: Full Leather Armour, Stone Sword
Reward: 5K, 5 emeralds (Reward amount open to discussion)
Objective: Last 5 minutes
Enemies: Zombies, Skeletons, spiders

Hard
Starting Items: Wooden Sword
Reward: 20K, 10 Emeralds, Achievement: You don't even need this (Gives you Diamond Sword)
Objective: Last 10 minutes
Enemies: Zombies, Skeletons, Spiders, Creepers

And finally, the newest way to get to the mine.
Also gives you the Achievement: Untouchable

ULTRA HARD-CORE MODE
Starting Items: Your bare fists
Reward: 30K, 20 emeralds, Achievement: Untouchable (Diamond Chestplate reward), Unlimited entry to the Spawn Mine
Objective:Last 10 minutes
Enemies: The whole Nine Yards. Zombies, Skeletons, spiders, creepers, silverfish, endermen, ghasts.
(OPTIONAL) the floor of ULTRA HARD-CORE MODE is made of Silverfish blocks, so you can't even kill them without spawning a hundred more.

That's my idea, tell me if you think it's good, bad or needs revision. Yes I am aware that the ULTRA HARD-CORE MODE is nearly impossible, but I believe it IS possible if you're good enough. (I removed Cave Spiders so it is possible, I think)

Post your own ideas in the comments

I like the idea.. some of us will have to do some serious thinking on how to make it work, but I think it's worth our time.

Ghasts... with your fists?

Really?

I agree with Viper.
Maybe have a bonus round where you fight just skeletons with a bow.

I'll get started on the building.

Well, the idea is to survive, not to kill them all. You can dodge or punch the projectiles back. In fact, it could make it easier, because you could use the fire charges to knock other mobs back. This Idea is just that, an Idea. If you feel anything is too hard or just not right, feel free to change it.

Ye know, i could probably do that arena thing with NPC scripts...
Not sure how i would force inventories with it though...

Well, it's easy to use command blocks and cobweb delays for that. Not sure if it's possible to just use Server Signs and keep it automatic.

Can't you force inventories just like in Spleef?

The Spleef arena works by clearing your inventory and then giving you the items.
If we're to use the same function for this, it'd have to be on the Games world. Which isn't a bad idea really..

It would technically be a game. I think it would belong in the game world. If it does happen, I suggest we do it in a coliseum style arena, with a villager audience.
