As bacon would have known, this post was coming, it is over a month late due to laziness and preoccupation with schoolwork (also that giantass art) but anyway.

The organisation of the server HAS improved since I began my intention to post this, but it still has a long way to go.

I propose that new hierarchy is put in, concerning the ranks.

this is what I propose

Peanut (no perks)
Citizen (present perks)
Merchant (present perks)
Mayor (present perks + 15 min ban/ kick)
Mod (present perks)
Mason (Mod + Creative)
King ( Mayor + longer bans, possibly set region boundaries)
Artisan (present perks)
Admin (present perks)
Head Admin (mostly all commands, recommend Bacon and Blackmajor, as they are the most active and most respected niggers there are).

Now, as for the plugins.

We need to remove any faulty plugins, and replace them. It is causing lag, instability and a general discomfort to play with faulty plugins.


Oh, I can't stress this enough.

CLEAN UP THE STAFF.

There are inactive staff as far as the eye can see, inactive admins should be reduced in rank, and regain it once they're active for a certain time period, the same for mod, artisan and head admins.

No person should get more or less respect than each other, unless they disrespect others. Sure you can have a joke, but seriously, jakpet was one of those dipshits that banned because 'UYR DYSREPEKT MOD'. I hope you don't LIKE these sorts of things.

Voting for ranks:

Now, Considering the effort artisans put in, and the commitment to the server they have, they should really have a decent say.
Artisan vote = 5
Admin vote= 8
accept for mod = 30
Accept for mayor = 15
Accept for King/Queen = 21
Accept for Artisan = Viper+Dark+40
Accept for admin = all admins+ 2+ artisans.
ALL ACCEPTS SHOULD CHANGE TO CATER FOR INACTIVE STAFF.

Now, I don't want to seem narcissistic, but I seem to have a knack for picking troublemakers, as do many other 'lower players' Mods/artis/admins. You need to listen to the player base, and don't let dipshits suck up to you.


Stop letting just anyone build a town.

If people want to make a town, have a think about it. Is this person a peanut? yes? don't do it mang, he'll half build it, leave and have more mess to clean up. OR WE COULD JUST RESET THE WORLD AGAIN HURRHURR.

Some kind of small scale vote could suffice easily, maybe have a 10 hour requirement for a town. It'll just stop the server from being overrun with retarded shit.

Donation:

We need more donators. It's that simple. maybe make some features like a membership deal. You donate, you get membership for a while, a very low price, but enough to make it so that we get a decent cashflow to keep the server going. Just the bare minimum amount of features for this. Maybe even make it a one time donation of say. $2.50 for perma- membership.

The plugins are fine. What kind of lag is it? Is it only temporary spikes? If so, that'd be WorldEdit. I check the TPS (Ticks Per Second) quite regularly and it's very rarely below 20, which is what it should be. Once that drops, the server will lag.

I'll address the rest of this later.

The anti-xray plugin is volatile as hell, and when it goes haywire, a lot of other stuff does for me as well. The regions have been having some difficulties lately too.

Kay. Here is my primary goal on the server: getting more dedicated players on here. All these donations we get and the hundreds upon hundreds of dollars Darkspin pays each month aren't worth shit if it's only to pay for a few people. Not any of my IRL friends, though, since... frankly, my best bud Jose is the only one who is in the slightest tolerable when it comes to multiplayer gaming. I don't have an active twitter either...

Jakpet was retarded, the problem with this is every man has a different view on respect and such. Some can take many jokes, others implode themselves on the first indication of negative statements towards oneself. Hence why this would refer back to cleaning up the staff.

Pretty sure i listen to people, hell i ask people. And sucking up, pah, i ignore that all the time. Not so sure about the others, seem to be rather susceptible to sucking up.

I've been thinking to change the requirement for Mayor to something else rather than having a town. Not sure what to change the requirement to. Though if one does happen to make a proper running town they could still get Mayor. I repeat, a proper town.

I'm assuming this is in reference to making a new world. But i assure you the new world is justified. Old world has been through many seed code changes and many derpy admins while we were learning how to properly run a server.

-Crunk (is one hell of a business man, and could talk the legs off a horse, but is constantly busy with other servers and logs on once e'rry month. Demote him to moderator but with item spawning).
