Naming the new Main World

[VlperX]

Okay...

We really need to name the new main world.

These are the names I like, please suggest yours and we'll do majority I guess... please treat this thread seriously and only suggest names you would really consider. We need this decision very soon.

- Aysr (or some variation of.. I sort of made this one myself and played with multiple variations yet I prefer the simple)
- Remus (I do like it... but I prefer a simple background.. is too involved)
- Adonis (means beautiful youth... which I think really fits the world nicely)
- Acestes (<-- do like)
- Abydos (perhaps for you Stargate fans)
- Aldora
- Aldara
- Aleron

As much as I love the 'done-to-death' Greek and Roman names, I would prefer to shy away from them; Zeus, Athena, Apollo, Castor, Hades, Hermes, Pandora, Perseus, Prometheus...

BlackMajor has created a very interesting nether region, perhaps 'Tartarus' would be a good name for it - "Underworld below Hades"

Feel free to throw in names from Game Of Thrones :D Some of them are actually original to the author.

[BlackMajor]

I'd go with Aysr. But i'd change it to Asyr.

[Flaze]

Lol, Asyr is good. Those last 3 remind me of Elora..

[Miistic]

Any of the first three on the list... I like those ones.

[OMGBACONROFL]

Romulus and Remus..
Twin boys in Roman mythology, raised by Lupa, the wolf.
Romulus kills Remus and then proceeds to found the Roman Empire.
Yup, too involved.

[VlperX]

Yes, too involved.
I prefer names that can be explained with a simple few words and actually relate to something meaningful.. rather than two characters who are simply historical.

[UnclePeanut82]

I DID write something on the server which I thought was quite good, but I don't remember it lol.

I don't mind Aysr, pronounced ai-zer (imo)

[ren_creepergirl]

I really am loving the name 'Aleron'. Personal preference though. Name it whatever you fella's like, I didn't work on it.

[VlperX]

Same :D I love it... I still haven't decided though... I might end up making the final vote... although I gave the poll a day... when that's up, no more votes can be placed.

The names all start with A..... Have any ideas that start with another letter?
