Alright, most of you have realized that Darkspin had to downgrade his internet, so the natural instinct you had was porbably along the lines of "oh god they're going to ask for donations and I don't have any free money and what do"

If your friends like the server, they may tell their friends, and those people may tell their friends. It could cause a chain reaction of new players to play with and new donations rolling in from that rich extended friend that everyone has.

[color=#FF0000][size=x-large] Please note that for this to work, it has to be mostly word of mouth and have formal advertising ONLY DONE WITH PERMISSION.[/size][/color] New players are good for the community, but sites like Reddit and Planetminecraft are crawling with "PRO" griefers.
I myself will try to hurry up on DSTP and maybe make a Darkspin-related forum signature, but I can't do it alone. YOU, the members of this lovely community, must take pride in your (hopefully) favorite server and tell your friends about it.

Donations are fucking awesome and every penny counts, but [color=#98FB98][size=large]all you literally have to do is play and tell your friends. That's it. [/size][/color]

I have an idea: For some "free" donations, maybe we could have an adfly link on the homepage that, after 5 seconds, just redirects back to the homepage. It's just an idea, and people can do it at free will, but hey, as min said every penny counts.

Back to donations, please.
The ad.fly link is probably a little bit too inconvenient for casual forum viewers, and having it every damned time you pop onto the forum website...

On the other hand, I suppose the forum page could have ads on it.

Well, in sense to ad.fly, I just meant that we have the link on the homepage, and if you want to click it, just to donate some money, you could. It was meant to be a choice.

Oh, alright. I suppose it would be acceptable, but ad.fly really doesn't donate much money... and to be honest, you need tens of thousands of people looking at it before you can get something like $5, and we really don't have the playerbase to do it.

So what a lot of you don't know, is Darkspin puts quite a bit of his own money into this server and he doesn't even have the time to play on it, so effectively, he gets pretty much nothing out of it except for what appreciation we're able to show him.
Any help you can provide will always be highly respected. And remember all donations go soley to him as the owner. Only [i]IF[/i] we were thriving and making profit, would I even think to ask for a percentage. Although, I don't run this server for money, but for the satisfaction of everyone of you whom appreciates it.

- Write up a new terms&cond for the packages
- Set up extra homes as a donation package (waiting on an R1.5.1 build of Essentials)
