Demotion Request
Post: #11
I understand that the majority of this is due to my hatred of bronies, and the incident with Scope. But please hear me out on this one, as you have all done so many times in the past. Recently, I have been going through some very personal stuff, largely involving my sister being kicked out... but you don' t really want the specifics, do you? Well, in the middle of all this, my mindset on things has shifted rapidly... resulting in the arrogant, intolerable asshole I have been acting like recently.

I assume I was so caught up in the middle of all this that I took out my fury on here, and, in an attempt to share my emotional crisis, I pissed off quite a lot of people—one of which was Mikey, who I antagonized with my hatred of that wimpy-ass (no offence) show, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Another was Blue, who I accused of destroying Scope's rather large house in Shipwreck Valley, which, may it be put on record, he did against my permission.

And yes, I did overreact when Scope was banned... Largely due to the personal problems stated above, but also because he is honestly a great friend of mine. I myself detest the idea of permabanning anyone, and especially when the person in question has had the decency to contribute to our gaming community. Scope was one of the first people I met when I joined the server.

When I unban people early, it's usually not because I don' t think they deserved the ban... it's because I hate banning people and not giving them a reason why. Half of the bans on here are dished out with a simple "lolnope," or, as Mikey would've done, "GRIIIIIEEEFF." It's truly irritating when you try to join the server and don't even know why you can't. I often do ban them again later.

So yes. Until I can sort my life out, do with my rank as you please. I'd rather not continue to detract from other player's experiance with my unreasonable rantings and ravings.

Hey, but if I do get perma demoted, can I at least keep my LogBlock abilities? I'd like to help other players somehow.

I suppose a temp demote'd be most fair.
And, I uh, I suppose I took the Brony thing too seriously...
Dammnit, Saint, you've gone and made me feel guilty :S

You shouldn't feel guilty, because I took my trolling too far. I was the antagonist in this situation, not you.

It doesn't matter what happens, you should have the decency to act SANE here.

I've been going through a lot and I haven't fucked around with everything.

I know a lot of people that play here going through things and not fucking things up.

I know Scyth is dealing with an ill family member.

You need to man up and accept your responsibilities a bit more Saint, We wimpy ass bronies can do it, why the fuck can't you?

Paper, you do realise that I'm agreeing with you? Not arguing...? I myself believe that I can't control myself. Why must you continue?

Also, according to Blue, Scyth just banned me for ten days. >.<

You're pushing guilt and pity onto us.

Don't expect it from me.

Yes, for attempting to sell enigma items.

Since I can't actually quote those PMs.
Quote:Bluevertro
i bet that will consist of enimga stuff

Quote:saintethan
and my bag o' hax

Which implies you have enigma items and were willing to sell them to players for money to buy Brookcourt. (And yes, I know the "bag o' hax" is apparently just things like water, fire and cobweb.)

If it sounds like I'm pulling a guilt trick on you, it's because I'm taking this seriously for once, something I don't do often. But I assure you, I am not trying to make you feel "sorry" or any shit like that. I couldn't control myself, and now I must face the consequences.
What. When did I say that I would sell enigma gear? My only enigma item anyway is my pickaxe... Now yer just looking for reasons to ban me, Scyth.

So apparently there are five guests browsing our forums.

lolwhat

Anyway, g'night. Rage all you want, I'll be here to reply in the morning.
Preferably, discuss now. I want a hefty amount to reply to in the morning. Gotta exercise the mind, you know?
But seriously Scyth, really? A ten day ban... because of a misunderstanding... which wouldn't even be worthy of a tempban in the first place... Seriously, you guys take this too seriously. You're just abusing power now.

I didn't... do what? Not once have I abused my abilities... Ah, yes. "Taking things to seriously." I meant, as in "HURR HURR YOU INSHULTID SUMTING I LIKE HERE HAVE A BAYNE."
Kay, seeing as Scyth figures it suitable to ban me for no reason whatsoever (for example, he gave me a four day ban yesterday because he thought I was trying to insult him), next time he makes a racial remark, it's a one day ban for him.
