I posted a moderator application awhile ago and it was denied and i see why. It was too early, i wasnt ready to be a moderator, i wasnt that trusted to be one yet. So im posting another one and hopefully im this is the right time to do it. :P
Why do you want to be a Moderator?
I would like to be a moderator because of a few reasons. One is that whenever im on and no one else is and there is a player who threatens to hack the server or i actually see someone hacking i can take into action and stop the crime as it should be. Another reason is when someone reports that they have been stolen from or just got stolen from i can help them and not just watch someones possessions being taken from them when they have worked hours with hard work to earn them. One last reason is for when someone decides to throw curse words around i can A. help them fix what is causing them to rage or B. mute and or (if it is really bad as in racism) kick or ban them.
What do you think it takes to be a good Moderator?
It take immense reasponseability, trust, time, leadership, and knowledge. Reasponseability (being probably the most needed trait) is what i think gets you moderator in the first place. If you have no reasponseability then moderator is not fitted for you at all. Sense i think i have enough reasponseability in doing what i do it led me to apply for moderator.
Have you played at least 80 hours?
I have 159 hours and intend on raising and raising that number.
Tell us a little bit about yourself, your gameplay and what you think of the server.
I own a town and hold the position of mayor. Last time i counted i have 13 people in my town. I must have done something right to have gained those people in my town. I think Darkspin is one of the most organized, creative, civilized, and greatest server out there. The staff on Darkspin really tend to players and they're needs. That can be really special to a player if they need help and someone is there to help out so the player doesnt feel neglected or left out. Since i love this server and play on it all the time i might donate in the future (aka when i have money :P).
Anything we should know about?
Like i said i hold the rank of mayor and own a town with 13 people living in it. Another thing you should know about is that in 5th grade i was awarded with a missouri state award for accomplishments in the area of enterprise as defined in Webster's dictionary in 1926: "Willingness or eagerness to engage in what requires boldness, energy; and attempt or project, especially one which involvles activity, courage, energy, or the like of arduous endeavor.
If you are confirmed, do you swear not to use your powers for stupid/irresponsible/revenge purposes?
Yes i do swear on my reputation i would not use my power for stupid/irresponsible/revenge purposes.
Do you agree to the fact that if you are inactive for a month, your Moderator rank will be revoked?
Yes i do agree. If i were to be gone for a period of time i would notify in advance i would be gone. Plus why would i want to be away from all the fun that goes on in the land of Darkspin?
I hope you take my application into consideration and i hope i didnt bore you or anything in this application. I understand if you dont think im ready or even dont think i diserve to moderator. Thanks for your time. :)
