[b][size=large]You're tired of seeing the same person apply for mayor over, and over, and over again right? They get declined, but keep trying anyway? Well worry not, for I have the answer: A Filing Fee!
At the moment, to get mayor, you need to pay 50K. If your application gets rejected, you don't need to pay that, so what stops you from applying 5 times? Nothing! Here's my proposition: We charge a filing fee of 10K. That way, even if you fail to get approval, you lose the 10K.
This will stop people applying endlessly, and make them think about whether or not they will actually get it before applying. This will reduce the number of mayor applications we get from people we hardly even know.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for having plenty of towns and mayors in the server. The more the merrier, but I want Quality over Quantity.
So what do you guys think? Do we want the fee or not?
