Meet the Wither.
It starts out with low health, and carries two disembodied heads. It gives a poisen effect called "Wither" which drains health from you to replenish it's own. It classifies as "Undead" and has fire resistance, so it is likely to be a Nether Boss... also, it destroys every block, except for bedrock... Yes, it can destroy obsidian. It will fuck up yer Nether portal. Interestingly, the particles it emits are similar to those of the Void.
It is not a member of my beloved Ender species, as it doesn't emit the trademark purple wisps, nor does it have a purple tint in it's eyes. READ THE ENTIRE THREAD AND REPLIES THAT FOLLOW FOR MORE INFO.[hr]
When it breaks blocks, it makes the "door open" sound.[hr]
I have hypothesized that, due to the Void particles it produces, the creature will spawn in the open "abyss" above the Nether... Yep, CaptainHandsome and his Pillar of Light are screwed. Interestingly, it attacks passive mobs... indicating that it will have a way to enter the Surface World, if it is a Nether mob, that is. However, regular Nether portals are too small for it to enter.
