After some heated thinking, I have decided on how we should go about advertising. The simple fact is: nobody likes commercialization. They want entertainment! You, my dear reader, can guess where I'm going with this. Yes, I am proposing that we, as the staff of Darkspin, create a community Youtube channel to document our various shennanigans on the server.
You listening yet? Good. Now, not only would this increase our general server population quite a bit—the IP of Darkspin would be in the video descriptions, as well as a link to the website—but if we could get popular enough, than we can get Youtube Partnership and make money off of these videos!
I have hundreds of ideas for series' and machinima—but I will get into explaining all those later. Machinima videos would be our primary focus, since not all staff members have good enough computers to record by themselves. With machinima and skits, we can have one person film it, and the rest do the skit. This would allow those among us with crap machines to still be a part of the videos.
Of course, this wouldn't necesarily be only for Minecraft LPs and tutorials! Darkspin
expands beyond just Minecraft, as we all know. The channel would also include content by all our staff—even the Team Fortress 2 admins. Update news,
achievement guides, you got it.

“What passes for hip cynical transcendence of sentiment is really some kind of fear of being really human, since to be really human [...] is probably to be unavoidably sentimental and naïve and goo-prone and generally pathetic.” --David Foster Wallace, Infinite Jest
