What do you guys think? I'd been meaning to do it for about a year but it entailed a lot of work and time due to custom things that didn't play nice together. Found time today to finish it with pieces from 3 different forum themes all MacGyver'd into it.

I now refreshed, and saw it. I liked the dark theme, as it goes with the name, "[size=medium]Dark[/size]spin". But if you want to keep the light theme, be my guest.

You can change your personal theme. I think this would be a nice default though. If not I can switch the default back to the black one.

To change your theme back simply do the following:
Click "User CP" > "Edit Options" > and under "Other Options" in the lower right corner select the appropriate "Board Style:"

I studied graphic design in college, and white is just generally a cleaner choice to go with when it comes to websites. It's easy on the eyes and it's slick, if not a tad bit too bright if you're going with full background #FFFFFF value.

With that said, I was alright with the black layout playing with the "dark" part of Darkspin as Pwnzr said, but I did find it very dark and a little too contrasting for my eyes. Maybe something with this layout, but cool cobalt blue gradients/alternatively subdued orangey-reds and dark grey tones would be neat if you wanted to ever make another dark theme.

I first saw the white and was like "OMG what did I do? Break the forums?"
I happen to like the Fantasy Blue setting myself, except it seems to have eliminated the shout box on my screen.

Good ideas. The black was always too dirty for me but served its purpose. I can customize it and will likely have a theme up for votes that incorporate exactly what you said.
