CraftBukkit hasn't released anything for 1.3 yet. You can check it here:

Yes. #2268 is the latest version, likely with a small bug fix. However, it is a development build, meaning that many other glitches may arise.

2281 does not work either.

I'm questioning if this error is bukkit related... but the problem is, there's nothing else to blame except the other plugins.

Actually I'm going to work on ruling that out by running a test server.

It's solved.

The crash never logged, which made it that much more of a mystery.
